Junk

It seems there is always something in the way of progress, my wife took my little car to work while I stayed at home with the baby, to work around the place, to change her oil and fix her A/C. I did get a lot of picking up done and eventually moved the chicks but in the middle after getting back from the parts store I heard a hiss from the car.

The radiator is leaking! So for now this car is down, I’ll try and get a replacement at the beginning of the week but it’s something else that needs work.

The title of the post is Junk, I don’t like having junk around but it is handy to have some odds and ends. The chicks needed more room so they were taken out of their bin and have half the coup, becides being too crowded there was concern for them getting too hot. Temperatures have gone up, the heat lamps are still needed but they need to be able to get cool if they want.

A piece of roofing from the junk pile made a good door blocker, even though the door is kept shut, when I open it they have a tendency to come out.

Now they have more room but they are no longer protected from snakes, good thing about snakes though is they only kill what they eat and one would probably satisfy a black rat snake for several weeks, as bad as that sounds I shouldn’t loose many if any.

Just a stay at home Dad trying to become more self sufficient in a world getting more dependent. It’s easy to get lost in all the things of the world, sometimes the best therapy is getting your hands dirty and growing something good!
