With all the failures of the year it is nice to have production coming on.

I have not benifited from the peaches yet so we will see how they finish. I hope to have s few other things as well but they aren’t showing fruit yet. Being diversified is important, even if it’s only for your own sanity!

My climate zone is rough it freezes and it’s hot, last winter was very mild but we had a few hard freezes and some were late. The late freezes are what I blame for my bee problems, too warm too early and then freezing temperatures. Many fruit crops don’t handle late freezes either, I should have blueberries as well but don’t, they are sensitive to late frost even though they do well with very cold winters. Many buds are similar when it comes to frost damage.

Just a stay at home Dad trying to become more self sufficient in a world getting more dependent. It’s easy to get lost in all the things of the world, sometimes the best therapy is getting your hands dirty and growing something good!
