If you have livestock more than likely you will have to get hay.
Getting it out of the field is the cheapest way to do it, around here it seems that every time whoever is bailing it touches it they add $0.25 to it, so loading it on the trailer and into the barn adds $0.50 at least, doesn’t sound like much but for me it’s like getting a free bail for every 6 I pick up and put on my trailer.
Picking up hay is always hot though, made two trips to the field this year and the first was the hottest of the year.
